Managing Director, Digital Marketing at Truth Initiative, Washington D.C. Metro Area

Dionisios “Dio” Favatas currently serves as Managing Director, Digital at Truth Initiative. He is an industry recognized ideation leader in the digital space, firmly positioned at the crossroads of technology and communications. Throughout his career, Mr. Favatas has increased ROI through executing high-impact omni-channel digital marketing campaigns for agencies and clients, alike, by leveraging strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills. His contributions as a digital innovator in the advertising communications space, has led to dozens of AdAwards, WebAwards, EMAs and others for past clients.

Prior to joining Truth Initiative, Mr. Favatas also served in various leadership, digital strategy, and programmatic media roles in both the media and advertising industries. He has worked for Intelsat S.A., CLS Strategies (an Omnicom Company), Strayer University, TMP Worldwide (formerly a subsidiary of MWW Group) and Grassroots Inc. (and Edelman Company). He has served clients ranging from T-Mobile USA, AOL, Oracle, ADP, CIA, DHHS, Pfizer, Google, Intuit, and numerous others.

Mr. Favatas was awarded the 2008 Market Research Society’s Best Master Dissertation, named to DMN’s 2016 “40 under 40” list, was ranked 13th overall in Onalytica’s Top 100 Digital Content Marketing Influencers, and recently named to the Forbes Nonprofit Council.

Mr. Favatas completed an MS in Strategic Marketing from one of Europe’s top business schools, Cranfield University, in 2009. He also holds a BS in International Business and Finance, with a minor in Management Information Systems, from Rochester Institute of Technology.
